Calm Reset
A MindVela Wellbeing Kit
Welcome
You've arrived here carrying something heavy.
This isn't a fix. It's a place to rest for a moment. A harbour when the waters feel too rough.
You don't need to do this perfectly. You don't need to finish. You can stop whenever you need to.
Take a breath. You're safe here.
Arrival
Before we begin, let's notice where you are. Not metaphorically — actually.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Notice the temperature of the air.
Listen for one sound nearby.
You might notice thoughts arriving. That's okay. You don't need to stop them.
If you need to pause, you can return to this page anytime.
What You're Carrying
Sometimes it helps to name what's here with us. Not to solve it — just to see it.
If this feeling had a weight, where would you feel it?
Your chest? Your shoulders? Your throat? Somewhere else?
You don't need to write this down. You don't need to answer. Just notice if anything arrives.
Quiet Water
For this moment, imagine your breath as something steady. Like water lapping gently against a dock.
Breathe in slowly.
Count to four if it feels right.
Breathe out slowly.
No rush. No rhythm to get right.
Do this once, or three times, or until something softens. Or not at all.
Permission
Here's what you're allowed to do right now:
Not know what you need.
Feel exactly as you feel.
Rest without earning it.
Stop trying for a moment.
You don't need to believe these yet. You can just read them.
Something Steady
When everything feels uncertain, it can help to name one thing that's still true.
If you wanted, you could finish this sentence:
"Right now, I know that..."
It doesn't have to be profound. "I'm sitting here" counts. "I'm breathing" counts. "This feels hard" counts.
Closing
You made it here. That matters.
You might not feel different. You might not feel better. That's okay. You still showed up.
This page will be here whenever you need it. You can return as many times as you want.
Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone.
Take your time leaving. There's no rush.
